Daily Aspirin Connected to Risk of Vision Loss

Summary: A new study shows that seniors who take aspirin each day are twice as likely to have late stage macular degeneration, than those who never take it. Macular degeneration is an age-related loss of vision. The study doesn't show that aspirin causes vision loss, just that it increases risks for it. Thus, people are concerned about it due to how many seniors take it each day for heart disease.

Critique: This is pretty interesting. Hopefully scientists will do more tests with this to see if the results can be more accurate.

Impact: I'm not sure that this will have a really big impact. However, I think that people who have macular degeneration won't take aspirin daily after more tests have been done with this study.
