Volleyball netting made out of vines of The Amazon Rain Forest

Reference:

Summary:

The Amazon Rain Forest is made up of so many vines and trees so I chose to make a volleyball net out of the strongest vine due to its strength and stability which is the liana vine. This vine is a thick woody type that is strong enough to hold animals and humans and is used to make bridges across the forest which also helps to protect trees from falling during strong wind storms.  Unfortunately, If the tree vines are connected to other trees and one falls, it may cause others to fall also.

This picture illustrates the strength of the vine from a human swinging from it. The vine coming from a rain forest keeps the vine moist so it never becomes brittle from drying out or falling apart from the weight of an animal or a human. The strength of the vine would be great for a volleyball net. This netting would be strong enough to handle volleyballs hitting it, people falling on it from spiking it etc. This strength would also come from the weaving of the vine to make the netting.

knotted liana photo (2)  This is the type of knotting/weaving that would be used to make the netting. Weaving the vine would make the net even stronger, because there is more material and the material is different sizes from small to large that could get as big as your arm. This weaving takes place naturally with spaghetti like mass.
             Critique:

I feel making the volleyball nets out of the liana vine would benefit all volleyball teams. Making the nets out of the vine would make the net last much longer than regular nets. In the case of them lasting longer would make it so they would not have to buy a new net every so often due to it breaking from the regular netting.

        Impact:

The impact on making volleyball nets out of the liana vine would be the strength of the net. The net being so strong would impact how much volleyball teams would have to pay each year to buy a new net if one rips. Using the liana vine as a substitute for the regular rope netting would benefit many teams all over the world.
