Arizona, a beautiful, and hot place to live, for humans, if you were a squirrel would you want to live in this hot weather with you amazing coat of fur. Apparently the Mount Graham red squirrel only likes one little spot of Arizona, and it just stays there. This squirrel has something about it that is different then normal squirrels, it has a stranger genetic make-up then normal squirrels. It also has a different behavior towards things then other species of squirrel do. Well this species has very little in its population, scientists are using technology to figure out the growth rate and other things to figure out how to make the population grow and maintain the the growth in population.
Impact: This affects the population of The Mount graham red squirrel, by helping the population grow. It also helped out some scientists by showing them how other mammals survive and what they need to sustain themselves.
Critique: I have always loved squirrels and this is about some squirrels in Arizona, if they were to all die out we wouldn't have a squirrel species individuality in the United States.
